Candice Kwasniewski’s Rising Stars Presentation

Good evening...I would just like to start out by saying that this was one of the best experiences I have had in my life...Mrs. Romano taught the girls and I that we are the future leaders of America. We are Rising Stars!

During this process, I have developed the confidence I need to keep a positive mental attitude and a positive self-image. I have now realized who I am...I am an “enhancer”...It takes a lot to be an “enhancer”...Courage, self-discipline and integrity. Those are traits that leaders possess. Leaders are made ....they are not born. You have to work hard to achieve success. Your attitude is everything!

Your attitude helps you to achieve your goals. I learned how to set and achieve goals! Goal-setting helps you to enhance your success in everything. Everyone doesn’t set and achieve goals....mostly because they leave them to chance. Goal-setting begins with dreaming, visualizing, and crystallizing what your future will look like! I am now making more positive choices and decisions. I use my leadership skills I learned to help people make wiser and positive decisions.

Mrs. Romano taught me well...She showed me that I could be who ever I wanted to be...I plan on being an agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigations. I am going to work hard and use the knowledge I attained from this program.

This program was very beneficial. I think this program should be used in other places. Schools would be of use to this program. I think this helped me academically and if other students had the chance to experience this, they would like this as much as I did! I would recommend this program to teens as well as adults! Sometimes, people just need to have programs like this to let them know who they are and what they can achieve...Don’t ever let anyone put you down. You are as good as anyone...

I would like to thank Mrs. Romano for spending time with me and being my mother as she called us her children! I would also like to thank my parents for being there for me and encouraging me to keep myself as well as I can be...We all have our obstacles, but just remember to be positive and show yourself who you are!

                                                                                                                Thank you...
